The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification will get you started in your
IT career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments running
on the Microsoft Windows® operating system.
MCDST candidates are required to pass two core exams. Elective exams are not required.

Governor Pataki
recently announced that businesses can now apply online for grants of up to $100,000 to help them upgrade
the skills of their current workforce. Known as Building Skills in New York State (BUSINYS), this program
will provide more than $20 million in grants to promote career growth and increased wages for thousands
of workers across New York State.
